The 5th edition of Vijay TV’s Vijay Awards will be held on 25th of June 2011 at the Nehru indoor stadium, Chennai.

Vijay Awards is one of the prestigious awards in Kollywood which honours the people for the excellence in the field of cinema. The award ceremony has outshined to a star-studded musical extravaganza in a grand manner with new sets, ideas and award categories. The much awaited day is just a couple days ahead and Stars, Celebrities and the Best Talents of Kollywood will walk the red carpet at one of the most honored film awards. Vijay Awards has been well received by the audience and stars since the key award categories are selected by people themselves.

Vijay Rasigan Express bus has toured across the main parts of Tamil Nadu for collecting votes for categories like favorite movie, actor, actress, director, song etc from the fans. The rest of the award categories will be selected by the members of jury panel.
