Super star Vikram formally launched the channel during the programme which is now available from the package of leading cable TV operators, including e-vision and Pehla.
From a dramatic entry by actor Vikram who drove through the crowd with an entourage onto the stage to a melodious mix of some evergreen Ilayaraja melodies by ace performers Shankar Mahadevan, Srinivas, Hariharan, Velmurugan, Chinmayee and Suchi, the audience in Dubai was left spellbound. Shankar, in his usual style rocked the audience with some unforgettable numbers and kept the momentum of the evening always on a high. Further, the event also featured some scintillating performances by the leading damsels of Kollywood, namely Sneha, Sandhya, Sana Khan and
Poorna. Vijay TV stars Gopinath of Neeya Naana fame and Sivakarthikeyan also made their presence felt by enthralling the audience with some of their trademark repartees.
