Here's a contest to select the best houses in each district as well as the State is being held. Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited has launched this and will reward consumers for the care and effort they have put in to build their homes and recognize key members of the construction industry – engineers, architects and builders. The State level prize will be chosen from the winners at the district level. The contest is on till March 5.
The road show to highlight the search of the best house was flagged off by T. Venkatesan, CEO (cement business), Dalmia Cement, on February 17. The categories are: best house; best house plan; best woodwork; best painted house; Well-Built House and best powered house. Log on to www.dalmiabesthouseintn. com to participate. Entries will be judged by experienced engineers and architects. There are many prizes to be won, ranging from gold coins for the district level winners to home appliances worth Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 75,000 for the second and third prizes. The winner takes home a Ford Figo.
The contest will be telecast on Vijay TV from mid-March.
