Bhakthi Thiruvizhaa is back



Vijay TV proudly presents Bhakthi Thiruvizhaa – the spiritual fest from 18th Oct to 22 Oct, 2010 in Chennai

“Bhakthi” is the only way to gain true knowledge of the Almighty and the surest way to reach Him. Vijay TV is proud to be back with “Cycle Pure Agarbathies Bhakthi Thiruvizhaa” – a 5 day spiritual fest at Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, T. Nagar, Chennai. Renowned spiritual speakers will speak on various topics which is sure to invoke the Lord’s blessings and captivate the audiences.

This spiritual festival will be inaugurated by one of the noted spiritual leader Paramahamsa Ethiyadhi Sri. Ethiraja Jeeyar Swamigal, Sriperambadur, at 5pm on, Monday, 18th October.

Commencing on 18th October, Bhakthi Thiruvizha begins with a ‘Mangala Isai’ at 4 pm. At 6 pm, Kalaimamani Thiru. Suki Sivam would speak on ‘Gnani Yaar?’ which will have brief notes on the great saints. Following this, ‘Udayur Kalyanaraman’’s ‘Namasangeerthanam’ will be performed on the first day of this spiritual fest. Following this Sri. R.P.V.S. Manian will render his speech on ‘Aadhi Sankararin vazhvil sila adhisayangal’.

On 19th October, the day 2 festival of Bhakthi Thiruvizha starts off with an ‘upanyasam’ by Selvi. Varsha Bhuwaneshwari on ‘Valli Thirumanam’. This 7 year old child prodigy renders interesting notes on the topic. Following this, popular speaker Sri. Oo.Vee. Karunakarachariyaar Swamigal will speak on ‘seiyum’ seiyyathu’. He explains about ‘karmayogam’ from Bagavat Geethai. Following this, Bakthaswara Bajan Mandali performs the ‘Namasangeerthanam. Following this, Sri. Oo. Vee. Thaamal Ramakrishnan speaks on the topic ‘Aindhil Ondru Pettran’. In this he narrates ‘Anjaneyar’ stories.

On 20th October, the third day of the Bhakthi Thiruvizha begins at 5 pm with Sri. Vadhavooran speaking about ‘thiruppugazhin inbam’. At 6 pm, Sollarasi Desa Mangayarkarasi will render her speech on ‘Meenatchi Thirukkalyanam’ wherein she explains about the divine marriage of Somasundareswarar. Following this Smt. Kalyani Margabandhu performs ‘Namasangeerthanam’. At 7.30 pm Sri. Oo. Vee. Anantha Padmanabachariyar will speak about ‘Sri Ramanujar Vaibavam’ with a topic ‘megathin thaagam’ wherein in explains the history of Sri Ramanujar.

On 21st October, the fourth day festival begins at 5 pm with Sri. Bala Srinivasan’s speech on the topic, ‘Annamalaiyarum Adiyavargalum’. In this he explains the greatness of Ramana Maharishi, Gugai Namasivayar, Seshadri swamigal and others. At 6 pm, Perasiriyar Smt. Ilampirai Manimaran will speak on ‘Narayana Enum Naamam’ with significant stories of Lord Perumal. At 7 pm, Smt. Pushpa Anand will perform the ‘Namasangeerthanam’. Following this at 7.30 pm, Smt. Navasakthi Parimalam, a new face introduced this year, will render interesting speech on the topic ‘Sekkizhar’.

On 22nd October, the last day of this spiritual festival begins at 5 pm with Sri. Manikantan, who is popular for debate shows, will be introduced as a spiritual discourser to the ‘Bhakthi thiruvizha’ audiences. At 6 pm, Dr. Oo.Vee. Venkata Krishnan will explain the history of ‘Kulashekara Azhwar’. Following this, Vijaya Bhagawadar & Balaji Bhagawadar Party would perform ‘Namasangeerthanam’. At 7.30 pm, Selvi. Suchitra will speak on the topic ‘Andal Thirukkalyanam’.

Special ‘prasadam’ has also been arranged for the audience on all days of this spiritual fest. The 5 day spiritual fest ‘Cycle Pure Agarbathies Bhakthi Thiruvizha’ will be held from 18th October 2010 at Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, Near Panagal Park,T. Nagar, Chennai.

Tickets will be issued on a first cum first serve basis at VIJAY TV, No. 15 Jaganathan Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai on Friday & Saturday i.e. 15th & 16th October from 10am onwards.
