Vijay TV  is all set for an array of interesting Ayudha Pooja special programmes as the festival fever catches up all over the country. Two days of exciting and entertaining special programmes are lined-up for this Saturday & Sunday (16th – 17th) of October, 2010.

16 October, 2010, Saturday

05.00 hrs, Saraswathi pooja day begins with “Bhakthi Geetham’ special renderings of Suprapatham & Kantha Sashti Kavasam with a visual treat of the abodes of Lord Venkatachalapathy and Lord Muruga would be aired.

05.30 hrs on ‘Mangala Isai’ Thiru. Selaiyur Shanmugam & troupe will mark the beginning of this Ayudha Pooja special day with melodies of Nadaswaram and Thavil.

06.00 hrs, ‘Kalaimamani’ Subbu Arumugam & troupe will keep the viewers amused by singing and discoursing interesting facts and anecdotes related to the festival that we worship tools and equipments apart from Goddesses Saraswathi & Lakshmi. This special ‘Villu Pattu’ is sure to captivate the viewers for its humorous way of narrative.

07.00 hrs Smt. Ilampirai Manimaran will preside over judging a debate show ‘Ruchi Pickle Aanmega Pattimandram’ that discusses on the spiritual & monetary benefits of Bhakti movements of our country. Poet Ramalingam and Prof. T.S. Prema will lead their teams.

08.00 hrs the juniors of ‘Airtel Super Singer’ come forward to entertain the viewers by singing some of the nicest classical and filmy classical songs. Popular classical singer Nithyashree Mahadevan along with singers Unni Krishnan & Sowmya accompanies the kids to mesmerize the viewers by rendering some melodies on ‘Airtel Super Singer Junior Special’, (16th & 17th @ 08.00 am)
