Lawrence to act in Mahaan
A successful actor, director and choreographer Raghavendra Lawrence is all set to act in Mahaan, a tele-serial which is being aired from August 2 on Vijay TV. A source close to the unit says, “After seeing promos of the mythological serial Mahaan, Lawrence, an ardent fan of Raghavendra swamy, expressed his desire to act in the serial. We are yet to find a suitable character for him” It is to be noted that Lawrence has built a temple for Raghavendra Swamy and also runs a home for differently abled.
A series on saints, Mahaan will feature the life history of Sri Raghavendrar for four weeks. Born as Sri Venkanna Bhatta during the 16th century, Raghavendrar proved to be a scholar right from his childhood. The series will cover his birth, early life, marriage, spiritual calling and his transformation to Sri Ragavendra. The serial is on air on weekdays at 6.30 pm.

Mirchi Music Awards: Catch the action
Glitzy performances, musical moments... the telecast of the Uninor Mirchi Music Awards on Star Vijay at 4 pm this evening is expected to have all this and much more.
