Judges for CSK Cheerleader show..
Here comes the judges for the Chennai Super Kings Cheerleaders auditions... former Indian cricketer Sadagopan Ramesh & actress/dance master Gayathri Raghuram. Star Vijay TV always make sure they choose very good judges/anchorers in the show & to be frank the judges/anchorers get more popularised with their mark in Vijay TV ;) coming bac to CSK cheerleaders, Gayathi Raghuram will judge the dance/cheering capabilities of the teams and Sadagopan Ramesh will be expecting/judging their adoptability, looking for their cheers with different situations. He would be basically finding how they react to any situation of the match & how could they support their team in different scenarios..
Creative Property Round...
It is Creative Property round in Amul's Ungalil yaar adutha Prabhudeva... its good that they brought a creative topic for the round itself.. we have seen many property rounds in different shows but creative property should make difference ;) ... wat difference.. should be creative.. Adding to this, the show will have actress Sandhya as special judge for the episode. we have been seeing lot of actors/actress getting into the show as special judge & now its turn for Sandhya to make it now into the show.
Intelligence - Genes Vs Surrounding.
The topic for this week Neeya Naana is - Intelligence is through genes Vs surrounding... its a good topic to speak about but I am not which is going to win the talk show.. to me I think its basically the genes responsible for the intelligence & ofcourse surrounding is very much affecting the same..Lets see how the show goes this week..

Rohit gets himself out...
It was Black & White round in Airtel Super Singer 2008 this week.. the show had top 8 contestants fighting for the next spot.. With legendry P.B. Sreenivas, L.R. Ishwari, Manorama as special guests for the show being the black & white round.. :) initially in the promotional videos it was shown Rohit is not making it to the show and will also not be available for the rest of the show. But, on tuesday anchorers said that Rohit is on the way & should be able to make it up for final episode of the show and this black and white round.. Then next day it was with a video from Rohit on why he could not make it to the show & whats gonna happen in the show.
Rohit said that due to academics & lack of attendance in his college he will not be able to participate in rest of the competition. this means that Rohit is eliminated from the show by himself which is not so great. his father came to the show on behalf of him & said.. when it was with top 6 contestants his college principal/teachers didnt had any issue but later when there were recall rounds & the competitors went on increasing to 10, they have asked him to drop out of it. Also poor guy comes from Coimbatore for the shooting everytime. looks like the shoot happens on week days most of the time & he got to skip his classes frequently. Quite sad.. We are going to miss him for sure..

Chennai Super Kings Juniors
The hunt for the junior team of the Chennai Super Kings commences March 7th. The show spanning over 20 episodes will have trials at Chennai, Coimbatore and Trichy. The first level trials took place in Trichy and over 1000 enthusiastic and eager boys took part with zest. Close to 80 boys were shortlisted after the first day trial. The boys were tested on their basic skills of the game. Their batting and bowling skills were judged by the Trichy District Cricket Association Officials. Next set of trials will take place in Coimbatore which will be followed by Chennai.
One team of 11 would be chosen from Coimbatore and Trichy and 3 from Chennai for the main leg of competition. In the next leg of competition, these 5 teams would compete in a league of matches in the round robin format. At the end of which, only 3 teams make it to the next level. These teams will then be put to test on their cricket trivia; with their parents also a part of the competition. The final 2 teams will compete in a 20-20 match which will decide the winners.
The winning 11 will be recognized as the Chennai Super Kings Juniors; and will get to watch the matches of the team in Chennai sitting at the Pavilion. The top 3 contenders (i.e. the best bowler, best batsman and best all rounder) will get an exclusive opportunity to be present with the CSK team at their nets and will also get the once in a lifetime chance to travel with the team to any one of the other IPL matches. Chennai Super Kings Cheerleaders
The Chennai Super Kings team is incomplete without its cheerleaders; and who better than the very own boys and girls of Chennai to add the local flavor to the celebrations. The Chennai Super kings are on the prowl for their cheerleaders. This 10 episode series will test a total of 10 teams consisting of 7 members each (both boys and girls) on their dancing skills and cheering routines over a series of competitive rounds. The skills of the teams would be judged on their motivation levels, innovative routines, whacky slogans for the various high points in a match. Each week, the weakest team would get eliminated and only the fittest will move on to the next level.
The teams contesting in the grand finale will get to perform to the beats of the drummer Sivamani. The selected team will be given the honor of cheering the Chennai Super Kings in every IPL match and also recognized as the official cheerleaders of the team. Over 10 teams across Tamilnadu will contest in the initial episodes and their dancing and cheering skills will be tested by the judges – cricketer Sadagopan Ramesh and model/actress Gayatri Jeyaram. Model Gayatri Jeyaram will judge the contestants on the basis of their style quotient, confidence level, attitude and choreography. Cricketer Sadagopan Ramesh will be judging them from the players’ point of view; how important it is to cheer and motivate the stars when the players when they perform badly; to bring back the energy level to the players. He will also be judging the cheerleaders on adopting some unique and interesting slogans.

Husband/Wife - Jovial/Serios...
It was very different topic been spoken in Neeya Naana last week.. It was about husband/wife who are always jovial or serious & the problems for the better half because of the same.. both the sides were equally speaking about the instances of their life & problems that they face with the fact. Ideally we all knew that ppl should be jovial most of the time & serious for the things that should be taken seriously... thats wat been adviced by many ppl even ;) one part of the show that I liked a lot was when few physicians came with laugh therapy. It was fun watching that doctor immitating the way ppl laugh/smile.. turkey smile, simple smile, fall down smile ;) I liked that part of the show very much.. it was a good topic but not sure how many would take it serious & how many would consider it jovial :)

Ella Pugazhum Oruvan Oruvanuke
Last sunday it was show on A.R. Rahman's Oscard award winning moments of his fans at Chennai.. this show was hosted by Jodi No 1 fame DD ;) & I think it was in Isai kudumbam fame judge Rehna's house.. it had all the moments of the Slumdog Millionaire's Oscar moments.. it seems Rehna's father was ARR's first music teacher. show had DD, kalaka povathu yaaru fame Ramya, singers Haricharan & few more (I donno their names but seen them).. It was from the Star Movies channel to the time A. R. Rahman came back to Chennai.. there were few words from director Shankar, Agathiyan, play backsingers Sujatha, Unni krishnan, Mano, Chitra, Srinivas, Hariharan, actors Parthiban, Manorama & the few more from the tamil film industry. There was even a guitar which had wishes of all of these ppl & would be given to ARR.
What happen to Madurai ????
I was happy for Kana kaanum kaalangal to be for 1 hour show from yesterday from 8 PM to 9 PM..but was shocked to see that Madurai doesnt fit in the programs list at all.... this is very bad & until now I dint had a chance to see any promotional video of the serial and to know whats going to happen to the same. I have heard from many ppl that watching serials in Vijay TV is not good bcos u never know how long they will be continuously avaialble in the channel. sterday I was going thru the schedule of programs & found that Kaaka kaaka which was available until last month & suddenly disappeared for quite sometime is back at 10.30 - 11 PM with the name Kaaka kaaka - re-edit. donno wat that means :) but looking at the kana kaanum kaalangal sterday's episode I thought it would have been better for a 30 mins itself.. might be there would be a break for 2 months in the kkk show during the summer holidays..

Black & White round..
It will be Black & White round in Airtel Super Singer 2008 this week.. with the name it all says we knew that the contestants would be performing very old songs. From the promotional videos it looks like the dresses n environment of the show would be as if its in 1960s-70s ;) Also, the show will feature the great singer PB Srinivas, Manorama & LR Ishwari in the show as special guests.. Looks like it would be the great time..
They are back...
It was the famous music of the film Autograph & immediately I thought its going to be with Kana kaanum kaalangal ;) with the exams going to start of.. its time for the seniors to comeback to school n have sometime out there :) I confirmed and found its the same. The show will have the last year passed out students getting their memorable school days revisited. From today the show will be for 1 hour with Hema (the most popular among them) & others in the school. I am not sure whether the current crew would also be with them or only others with flashbacks. Whatever be the case.. I donno whats going to happen to Madurai serial that is used to be telecasted at 8.30 PM???
Exam Fever !!!!
With the board exams starting tomorrow in the state..exam fever could be seen everywhere.. Its not so easy to ease the students for not getting excited & afraid about the exams.. over to this all of us tend to ask what they have planned to do in future & only thing thats required now is to get more marks as much as they could to make their future brighter.. We have come across lots of news about students who commit suicide for failing in exams & its really required for parents to speak with their child on results. In Nadanthathu Enna this week its going to look on these issues & what to do speak/do with students on those scenarios.. I am not sure when will it be telecasted this week but I feel its really important for parents to look forward for this show..
Technical - What is Multiplex ?
Multiplex is the term used to denote an entertainment centre where there are more than one screen for public exhibition of movies. Typically, multiplexes have at least four screens but each cinema hall will have lesser seating space but will offer a variety of fare. They are useful to screen movies that will have appeal for niche audiences and also for offering a variety of movies in the same location.
What else do multiplexes offer?
Multiplexes offer a mix of entertainment, food and retail in many places. Most multiplexes in India have been offering food and entertainment in the form of restaurants or food courts within the multiplex. Retail is an added attraction that is gradually emerging on the scene. The mix is such that the multiplex gives prominence to cinema, food and then retail since retail outlets are typically rented out.
Do multiplexes get any specific concessions?
Yes, several state governments have exempted multiplexes from paying entertainment taxes for a specified period of years, five years in the case of Maharashtra. Thus, these multiplexes get a lot of support in the initial years in the form of tax sops and though the setup costs are high, their relatively higher ticket charges, multiple revenue streams combine with the tax benefits to make for a decent business proposition. The Central Government has given a 5-year tax holiday for multiplexes that are set up in non-metro locations.

Padma Subramanyam & Vineeth
It was Padmashree, Padma Bhushan Padma Subramanyam & actor, dancer Vineeth with Anu in koffee with Anu show this week. I felt very bad for not knowing Padma until this time.. might be I would have seen her dancing but never knew her identity.. It was Padma to join Anu first & she was asked about her first stage show which was at the age of 6 years.. Woooooh... She had been teaching Bharathanatiyam & Vineeth is one of her student. The show became very interesting when Vineeth joined. We have seen him in movies quite frequently but not as a classical dancer...
His entry to the show itself was very touching.. immediately he came his first action was to fall in the feet of his teacher. he was so joyous speaking with & in front of his teacher. this he was feeling as one of best moment of his life.. It seems Vineeth used to dance with her in many of the stage shows & Vineeth used to get afraid n shiver when she is performing dance :)... I liked this show very much & I felt that it was very informative for me.. I felt very sad that a person who had got Padmashree in 1981 & Padma Bhushan in 1983 is unknown to me for this long time..
Pothys turn for Roja Kootam...
