Bhakthi Thiruvizhaa - Updates
Vijay TV proudly presents Bhakthi Thiruvizhaa – the spiritual fest On April 05, 06, 07, 08 & 09 in Chennai
“Bhakthi” is the only way to gain true knowledge of the Almighty and the surest way to reach Him. Vijay TV is proud to be back with “Bhakthi Thiruvizhaa” – a 5 day spiritual fest at Naradha Gana Sabha from April 05 - 09. Noted spiritual speakers will speak on various topics which is sure to invoke the Lord’s blessings and enlighten the audiences.
This spiritual festival will be Inaugurated by none other than one of the great spiritual leaders of our time ‘Maharanyam Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji’ at 5pm on April 05th.
Commencing on April 05, 2010, Kalaimamani Thiru. Sugi Sivam would speak on ‘Thiruvasagathein’ which will have a brief note on Thiruvasagam. He would speak on the praises of Lord Shiva by narrating shot stories as examples form Thiruvasagam. Following this is ‘Isaiyum Uraiyum’ by Sri Oo.Vee. Anantha Padmanabachariyaar and Smt. Vasundhara Rajagopal where they speak and sing on Sri Krishna Gaanamrutham. While Sri Oo.Vee. Anantha Padmanabachariyaar explains about Lord Krishna, Smt. Vasundhara Rajagopal sings hymns in praise of Lord Krishna. ‘Udayur Kalyanaraman’ performs the ‘Namasangeerthanam’ on the first day of the spiritual fest.
On April 06, 2010, Sri Embaar Kasthuri speaks on the topic ‘Sollin Selvan’ where he explains about the history of Lord Anjaneya who is an ardent devotee of Lord Rama. Following this Trichy Kalyanaraman speaks on ‘Parthanum Pasupathiyum’. Partha is none other than Arjuna, one of the Pandavas. Kalyanaraman speaks about Arjuna and Lord Shiva even citing quotes from Periyapuranam. Following this Ilampirai Manimaran will speak on ‘Arangan en Amudhu’. Here she explains to the audience about Lord Vishnu tracing the history from Srirangam. Dr.Ganesh performs the ‘Namasangeerthanam’ on April 06, 2010.
The discourses on the third day, April 07, 2010 begins with Thiru. Vadhavooran. He speaks on the topic, ‘Variyaar Kattum Vazhum Vazhi’. He narrates how well Kirupananda variyar, the ardent devotee of Lord Muruga speaks high of Lord Murugan. He explains it with suitable Murugan stories as well. Following him, Sri Baala Srinivasan speaks on ‘Thayumaanavar’. Following this Smt. Vijaya Sundarai would speak on ‘Kandapuranam’. Lastly Thiru Parasuraman would speak to the topic, ‘Arunagirinadharin Ramayanam’. Smt. Kalyani Margabandhu performs the ‘Namasangeerthanam’ on April 07, 2010.
The fourth day of the spiritual festival, April 08, 2010 has Smt. Bharadhi Thirumagan speaking on ‘Pattinathaar’. Pattinathar is one of the 18 Sidhargal. Bharadhi speaks on the praises of this Sidhar. Following her speech, Sri.Oo.Vee. Devaraj Swamigal speaks on ‘Tamil Thalaivan Namazhalvaar’. Finally Thiru. Sangaranarayanan speaks on ‘Paamban Swamigal’ who is a fervent follower of Lord Murugan. Smt. Savitha Sriram performs the ‘Namasangeerthanam’ on April 08, 2010.
The last day of the spiritual festival, Bhakthi Thiruvizhaa begins with Harikatha. Following that will have the Isaiyum Uraiyum of Selvi. Suchitra where she sings on ‘Sri Ramakrishna Pattabishegam’. Kalaimamani Nagaimukundan speaks on ‘Ottagaiyum Yaanaiyum’ – a story of Hasthinapuri where Panjali’s fate was destined. Lastly, Sri. Oo.ve. Karunakara Chariyaar’s ‘Kaalum Thaalum’ would take place. He speaks on the greatness of Lord Venkateswara. Smt. Jaanaki Subramaniyan performs the ‘Namasangeerthanam’ on April 09, 2010.
Special Prasadams has also been arranged for the audience on all days of the spiritual fest. The 5 day spiritual fest will start at 5:00pm on all days from April 05, 2010 onwards at Narada Gana Sabha, T.T.K.Road, Chennai.
