Recall Round...

Recall round is exciting for me atleast bcos my favourite singers will be performing in the competition again.. but I dont like the idea to bring them back into the competitors rather have a special show where they would only perform which will not be a competitive round. But, this post is only to see what happened in the recall round and contestant's performance... Aishwarya was the first to start the recall round in Airtel Super Singer 2008... she was too good with her "maja maja" from sillunu oru kadhal... and there were very good comments from the judges also. Hari followed her with "santhana thendralay" and was quite okay.. he was not at his best. Rohit/Renu pair gave guest performance with "rathiriyil poothirukum"...


Madhumitha R was the next contestant... she ROCKED with "gundu maanga" but I felt Aishwarya's performance was the better than this. this was on the first episode of the show.. Prasanna/Ajeesh pair sang "ennama kannu" and they were very very impressive.. Ajeesh has been improving & getting stronger each day. Madhumitha S's "Planigu naan oru maaligai" and she was even good. next was one of my favourite singer Bharathiraja and his "raagangal pathinaaru" & "kothal chavadi lady" were really good. RaghiniShree was the next with "maarugo maarugo" but not her best though.

In the final episode it was Ravi/Ranjani to start with "malargale mounama" and it was close to original score... Bargavi followed them with "en ulle en ulle" givingh her best. Vijay Adams' "senthamizh naatu thamizhachiye" was also very impressive & he was the top or second top at that moment. Finally Aruna's "udhaya udhaya" got the best comments so far and it was she who is selected for the next round even..
